Cynthia Bows

Cynthia Bows has had a life long pursuit of education and art. Here are some of her highlights:

  • 1946 - San Francisco College of Arts & Crafts, pastels and life drawing
  • 1947-51 - San Francisco State College, art and education major
  • 1965-68 - Everywomans Village San Fernando Valley, CA, oil painting and teaching techniques
  • 1969-80 - Founded Creative Art Workshop in Lafayette, CA, taught oil painting to children and adults; organized art fairs at the Forge Guild, Lafayette, CA
  • 1981-95 - Proprietor of Doll World in Lafayette, CA, repaired and refurbished antique and collectible dolls
  • 1996-2004 - Retired and enrolled at Los Medanos College, clay sculpture
  • 2005 to present - Moved to Sacramento and studied with clay sculptors Neil Williams and Tony Natsoulas
